St. Louis Rams Edge Cincinnati Bengals For NFL Preseason Win

Kyle Boller filled in for an injured Mark Bulger, and the St. Louis Rams improved to 2-1 on the NFL preseason with a 24-21 victory over the host Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams led 24-14 heading into the fourth quarter, but a Bengals TD early in the frame made for some drama down the stretch. The Bengals couldn’t close the deal, however, and lost their second game in NFL preseason play.

At Last A Vacation To Finalise A Bad Period And Some Space For Some Enjoyment

Once we’ve got the villa arranged, we are off on holiday! Hurray! We’re heading to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in April, for a vacation to finally put an end to the present Mrs Izzard’s cancer treatment which began with the confirmation in April, through surgery to excise the lump, chemotherapy all through the remainder of 2010 and then radiotherapy which she had in December and the early part of January.

Mark Coleman Cut From UFC

Not too long ago, Mark Coleman headlined UFC 109 facing Randy Couture. Several days later, he’s apparently no longer good enough to remain in the UFC at all. On Wednesday, following a lopsided loss to Couture the UFC released Coleman from his contract and cut the veteran heavyweight. Coleman is now free to sign with any other promotion, but at 46 years of age his most likely-and most advisable-course of action is retirement.

Atlanta Moves To 2-0 On Season With Win Over Carolina

The Atlanta Falcons are off to a fast start this season, and on Sunday used a potent offensive attack to top the Carolina Panthers 28-20 at the Georgia Dome. QB Matt Ryan threw a career high three touchdown passes, including one to his new favorite receiver Tony Gonzalez. The attack was well balanced, thanks in large part to running back Michael Turner who ran for 105 yards and a touchdown.
